Thank You and Congratulations Yayasan Sime Darby

Dear All,

Thank GOD, our National Anthem grace the cold night of Cali, Colombia and YSD cyclist of Malaysia warms the hearts of over nearly 3,000 Colombians who throng the velodrome to see the World's best cyclists in action.

After the second round of the World Cup Classics, Mohd Azizulhasni Awang managed to put himself up as the top ranking Keirin Rider of the World Cup. Trailing him now are the mights of Sir Chris Hoy,, Puerta Zapata,, Francois Pervis,Teun Mulder, Christos Volikakis, Denis Spicka, Mickael Bourgain, Simon Ven Velthooven and Scott Sunderland.

Definitely, John Beasley's strategy of resting Azizul from riding the Team Sprint yesterday paid off handsomely by him delivering the GOLD Medal today in his favourite Keirin Event.

With a shaky start at the First World Cup Classic in Melbourne after a hectic schedule in the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games, Azizul's present form puts the Road to London programme back on track after a miserable outing in Melbourne.

Its not going to be easy for Azizul to defend the UCI Jersey that he had won in Cali now, bearing in mind that all the other remaining World Cup Classics series will see the presence of all the other World Top Cyclists gunning for Olympic qualification points.

Congratulations to Malaysia and thank you for all the support, assistance and prayers.

Best regards,
Naim.
