Where To Go -Langkawi - Pantai Chenang part 1

Pantai Cenang is Langkawi’s most popular tourist destination, located near the airport and 25 km away from Kuah Town. The hallmark of this beach is its 3 km stretch (when combined with the 1 km-long Pantai Tengah) of sandy goodness, beautiful scenery and exciting tourist attractions. This is also where most of the resorts are concentrated on the island along with a host of shopping opportunities, exciting nightlife and convenient facilities. under waterworld, largest aquarium in Asia with a walk-through tunnel, more than 5000 marine and freshwater species reside here. Visitors can experience the wonder of literally being in the midst of these graceful, colourful and awe-inspiring creatures, from the majestic to the small, everyday from 10 in the morning until 6 in the evening. An experience not to be missed, for approximately RM10 per child and RM18 per adult.

For those with energy to spare, there are restaurants, lively entertainment and socialising to be had at local bars. As for those who like shopping, there is the Zon Duty-free Shopping Complex where visitors can "shop til they drop", choosing from electrical goods, cigarettes, beer, a wide range of imported foodstuffs like chocolates, biscuits and jams, as well as clothes and items. otherwise the hawkers along the road also can be part of shopping agenda. When the tide has gone down, you can take a leisurely stroll along the beaches, taking a closer look at the local marine life and collecting beautiful seashells.
